Multidisciplinary Advancements in Human-AI Augmentation

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with human cognition and creativity is reshaping how society addresses complex global challenges. By moving beyond automation toward human-AI symbiosis, this evolving paradigm enhances our ability to solve problems in fields like healthcare, education, and communication. Human-AI augmentation promotes inclusive innovation, where machines act as cognitive partners rather than replacements, expanding what individuals and communities can achieve. This shift also raises critical questions about ethics, privacy, and accountability, requiring thoughtful design and governance. As AI becomes more deeply embedded in everyday life, its responsible use will be key to ensuring a future defined by equity, resilience, and shared progress. Multidisciplinary Advancements in Human-AI Augmentation explores the transformative potential of human-AI augmentation to help solve our most pressing problems by combining advanced AI technology and human creativity. The text uses the theory of feedback loop and reflexive cocreation to set up the science behind Society 5.0 in terms of concepts such as cybernetics and cognitive science. Covering topics such as artificial neural networks, machine learning, and speech recognition, this book is an excellent resource for researchers, academicians, technology professionals and innovators, educators, and more.
