The medical author, Dr. Scott F. Nadler is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey where he also serves as the Director of Sports Medicine.
He is the team physician for 4 colleges in New Jersey and is on the medical faculty of the United States Figure Skating Association. Dr. Nadler has published more than 140 original research papers, abstracts, reviews, and chapters and his work has been in the peer reviewed journals; Spine, Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, Mayo Clinic Proceedings, Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine.
His research has been presented at the North American Spine Society, American College of Sports Medicine, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the International Olympic Committee World Congress of Sports Science. He is co-editor of the textbook Whiplash. He serves on the editorial boards of the Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine and The Spine Journal. Dr. Nadler has been selected to Best Doctors in America from 1996-2002, and to the Castle Connolly Guide, How to Pick the Best Doctors in the Metro-New York Region – 1998-2002.
