Synopsis
Created for introductory multimedia classes, this reproducible binder is the ideal supplement to any course on Adobe or Macromedia software. The projects contained in the binder focus on the most important aspects of Web design, including layout, graphics, desktop publishing, and animation.
About the Authors
Sally Brecher Rosenberg is a freelance graphic designer specializing in corporate identity, newsletter redesign, and individualized computer graphics training. She has been the owner and art director for Designing Solutions, a graphic design studio, since 1988. Ms. Rosenberg holds an M.A. in Communications, with a specialty core in Computer Graphics, from the New York Institute of Technology. Her B.A. is in Fine Arts/Marketing from the State University of New York at Albany. She currently teaches certificate programs in Graphic Design, Web Design, and Digital Photography at Hofstra University and the Chubb Institute. Most recently, she has joined the Graphic Design faculty of Westwood College Online. In addition, Ms. Rosenberg has extensive experience in trade show collateral materials, prop construction, and mainframe application programming.
Paul Nagin is the President of Chimborazo, LLC, a professor of Computer Science and department chair at Hofstra University. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts. His research includes medical image analysis at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he authored many articles, grants, and presentations on several ophthalmic pathologies. He developed computer animation sequences for a number of medical documentary films, one of which won the John Muir award for documentary film.
