Murder Amongst Friends

No one could have realized that a plaque containing the words, Your Future Begins With Every New Breath You Take, would foretell a future that changes the underlying currents which moves everyone’s life into a complicated fusion of ambition, curiosity, opportunity, greed, lust and betrayal. The introspective, subdued and intelligent private investigator, Jason McCord, formed a lifelong friendship with the gregarious, outspoken and wannabe businessman, Billy Paulson. Shelby Perouthka, a shy, demur and loyal supporter of her husband, Kenneth, had been friends with the voluptuous seductress Jennifer Keller since they were sorority sisters and both moved to Los Angeles. Kenneth Perouthka was an ambitious up and coming lawyer in the firm of Krupp, Krupp and Franklin where Fletcher Krupp, a playboy with less than admirable attributes, was a senior partner and used his position for manipulation and deceit. The saying goes, opposites attract but when mixed together can cause turmoil in dramatic proportions. When law enforcement catches wind of an illegal operation with global implications that seems to be centered at the athletic club managed by Billy, the calm currents turn turbulent. But, as in life, not all is as it appears to be in this story of mystery and intrigue that will hold your attention to the very end as Murder Amongst Friends exposes those currents.
