Murder Under the Merry Tree: A Cozy Corner Mystery, Book #1 (The Cozy Corner Mystery Series)

Liz Baker traded a fresh divorce for a fresh start running The Cozy Corner Yarn Shop & Tea Emporium in Cedar Creek. But when the town’s most notorious businessman is found dead at the Winter Festival, Liz’s nose for gossip proves stronger than her patience for knitting.

The last thing Liz needs is the handsome, infuriatingly professional Detective Sheriff Mark Harrison telling her to stick to her knitting needles. But as Liz chats with neighbors—from the angry ex-wife to the disgruntled business partner—she realizes the official police investigation is missing the crucial community context.

Now, her cozy shop is at the center of the mystery, and she’s the prime source of town gossip. With an arrest looming and her reputation on the line, Liz must untangle a knot of motives and secrets hidden among the festive lights. Can she clear her name, solve the murder, and maybe—just maybe—melt the ice around the Sheriff's heart before the killer turns their attention to the nosy new shop owner?
