Synopsis
When a member of Shepton Rise's amateur dramatic society is murdered, theatrical agent Ginny Fellows finds herself centre stage for all the wrong reasons. The evidence points straight at her, the police are asking difficult questions, and unless she can uncover the real killer, Ginny risks becoming the prime suspect in a murder she didn't commit.
Determined to clear her name, Ginny turns once again to her most unconventional allies: the Dead Actors—four eccentric performers famous for being killed off on television. Armed with a talent for disguise, role-play, and spotting a bad performance, they're uniquely qualified to uncover the truth hiding behind the curtain.
With her loyal friend Adam offering support, Tuxie providing feline comfort, and a few discreet tips from young detective Robbie Broome, Ginny follows a trail of grudges, secrets, and backstage rivalries. But the closer she gets to the truth, the more dangerous the spotlight becomes.
Perfect for fans of British cosy mysteries, amateur sleuths, quirky characters, and clever whodunnits, Murder in the Wings is a witty, theatrical mystery packed with humour, heart, and unexpected twists.
