The French would call this a supple cover - not quite hardback. 214pages of physical fitness information - followed by promos for other Liederman books. Think Dumb-Bells etc. Also at back are b/w diagrams of the (male) human body showing muscle groups. LEARN more about : George Hackenschmidt, floor dip, push-up exercises, and trapezius muscle. Cond : Green cover with an embossed graphic and gilt lettering. Issued w/o dust jacket (??). Yellow buff end-papers. Frontispiece is a flexed male bicep. Beautifully clean, square and bright. No names, marks, creases nor tears. Very collectible !! QUote (p. 17) : " By progressive work I do not mean increasing the number of motions.
