Harvey was principal of the Physical Training School & Gymnasium, Exeter. Green/black boards, extremities rubbed, corners and head/tail of spine bumped. Light browning of prelims, originally a staple binding but now sewn and glued in to boards, some rust marks from staples visible at inner extremes of pages. Large inscription on front e/p. "By a series of plates the reader can seee at a glance what muscles he is possessed of, and by means of short. Instructions and numerous illustrations, he is shown how he can most easily develop them. .
