The Museum of Unclaimed Luck (Shadow World Paradox)

The Museum of Unclaimed Luck follows 14-year-old Leo, who takes a boring summer job in a dusty basement archives. He quickly learns it's not a regular museum; it houses the physical objects connected to "missed" moments of fortune-a winning raffle ticket left in a pocket, a coin that should have been found, a letter that got lost in the mail. Leo discovers he has the rare ability to "activate" these items and return the luck to the person it was meant for. But the universe demands a balance: every time he grants a piece of "Unclaimed Luck," he must personally absorb a piece of "Residual Misfortune." Leo and his friends must decide if changing people's lives is worth the cost of their own bad luck.

Carrie Ray is a storyteller who refuses to be pinned down. Whether she is crafting high-stakes sonic conspiracies in the Small Town, Big World Mysteries, weaving faith-driven suspense in The FBI and the Lady or building the epic supernatural reaches of The Primal Chronicles, Carrie explores the many facets of the human experience. Grounded in a search for truth and connection, Ray's work offers a story for every mood-from pulse-pounding thrillers like The Resonant Kill to narratives that inspire the spirit. This versatility stems from a childhood spent in vivid daydreams, a trait that now helps her transport readers to immerse new worlds.
