The Music Of The Eye Or, Essays On The Principles Of The Beauty And Perfection Of Architecture

""The Music of the Eye"" is a collection of essays written by Peter Legh on the principles of beauty and perfection in architecture. Legh explores the relationship between music and architecture, arguing that the two are closely linked and that the principles of music can be applied to the design of buildings. He discusses the importance of proportion, harmony, rhythm, and symmetry in creating beautiful and functional structures. Legh also examines the history of architecture, looking at the works of ancient civilizations and the influence of different styles and movements on modern design. This book is a valuable resource for architects, designers, and anyone interested in the theory and practice of architecture. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
