It's the Times and Not the Dreams That Die... This novel tells the story of two young men who meet at a small mid-western university, the women who love them, and their coming-of-age story as seen through the music, turmoil, and politics of the middle and late 1960s.

Robert Steven Habermann grew up in the Washington, DC area. After serving as an attorney in the private and public sectors for twenty years, he was appointed a judge in 1991. He is the former editor of The Federal Jurist, and lives in Roanoke, Virginia with his wife, Linda and their dog, Brody. This is his first novel.
