Musings of an Aging Writer

Age has given me reflections that are spread across this book. But in themselves, they bear a timelessness and power that can awaken in us a new approach to life and living. Read it if, like others, you are hoping to revitalize and transform the rest of the journey.

In a collection of articles on diverse topics, I simplify important thoughts relating to God (His ways are not our ways), others and us. Time, life, relationships, giving, praising, forgiveness, reconciliation, opportunities, sorrow, joy, good, evil, pain and death – we are often too busy to reflect on these mysteries and virtues. In a quiet and compelling manner – without preaching – I ask and answer questions we cannot afford to ignore. These insights, gained with age and experience, nudge us to find a new path, where we can set right things that went wrong, and make straight somethings that were crooked. With God back in the center, others in their rightful place, and us striving hard, our relationships will regain the luster they once had. Then the rest of the journey becomes transforming. When the lessons of the past become sentinels for the future, we gain joy and peace.
