About this Item

Brown cloth designed and lettered in gilt. Frontispiece portrait of Angus. Modest edge wear, cup ring on the front, a very good copy. In the introduction Rev. Campbell notes that Angus published poetry under the nom-de-plume of Secunder. Angus was struck and killed by an express train in 1896. He had joined the Queen's Army at the age of 15, and served in India. A scarce book.
