Mutter und Kind By Hedda Walther. Accompanying note by Ina von Kardorff Published by Verlag Dietrich Reimer, Berlin, 1930. Hedda Walther was best known for her children pictures that appeared during the period 1929/37. Walther received commissions from many national and international magazines and newspapers and was particularly well-known for her photography of animals. Her daughter, Sonja, became a famous fashion photographer before, unfortunately committing suicide in 1957. Red cloth covers with white lettering (partially missing), no dust jacket, size 18.5 x 25.5 cms., 15 pages of text and 48 b/w photographic studies of mother and child. Very good condition. A10.1099.
