Mutual Mentoring: For Life Transformation

Mutual Mentoring for Life Transformation (by Rowland Forman) is a call to approach mentoring relationships to listen and learn, rather than merely tell and teach. It is an invitation to engage in relational slowing, allowing ample time for spiritual friendships to develop. It is also written to help church leaders move from a program-oriented approach to one where discipling is folded into every aspect of church life. This book is a comprehensive revision of The Lost Art of Lingering. To obtain your electronic or paperback version, order through Amazon or EntrustSource.com

Rowland Forman has awakened the nerve that has long been dulled. In this seminal book, Forman ushers us back
to Jesus' design of how life and love were to be transferred: through thoughtful, intentional, even time consuming
mentoring. In a world of convenient sound-bytes and insta-everything, Mutual Mentoring is a refreshing
reminder that the true transfer of life only happens up close and personal.

MUTUAL MENTORING will be my #1 go-to resource on mentoring and life transformation. I highly recommend
it for the mentoring novice and for experienced mentors alike. Comprehensive, filled with Scriptural applications,
practical mentoring habits, mentoring commentaries and additional mentoring resources, it will undoubtedly become one of the best mentoring handbooks ever written.

This is not a textbook. It is not a "How-to" manual. It reads as if you were sitting with a master mentor over a
cup of coffee, and learning to live life as Jesus intended. With real-life stories, crisp examples, and rich biblical reflection, Rowland helps us discover that the greatest life transformation comes when we learn to linger, share our
heart, and encounter the Holy Spirit who meets with us.
