Myrtle Beach Vampire Club: Book 8: Mob Boss

Ferrand Chambrey didn't survive five hundred years by being careless. He built his fortune, his family, and his quiet corner of Myrtle Beach one careful year at a time — and he doesn't scare easily.

But when Don Dimitri Vaccarelli, a Miami crime boss with an eye on Ferrand's real estate empire, doesn't take no for an answer, careful stops being enough.

A warehouse burns. A bartender is threatened at gunpoint in her own bar. And the men Dimitri sends north have no idea that the "eccentric businessman" they're trying to intimidate is the oldest vampire any of them will ever meet — or that the price of underestimating him is about to become very, very high.

While Ferrand, his bodyguard Lucius, and the rest of the Myrtle Beach Vampire Club close ranks against a threat that doesn't play by any of the usual rules, Camille Fontaine is fighting a quieter battle of her own. An old love has resurfaced, offering her the ordinary life she never let herself imagine — mornings, sunlight, safety. Everything Ferrand can't give her.
