144 pages 21.5 cm. Date of publication is indeterminate, but I believe it may be from the 1940s. Sound binding in green, cloth-covered boards with slight spine slant. Light bend along the spine. Corner tips and spine ends have a little wear. The spine title is dulled and barely legible. Some light soil to the boards. Previous owner's name on the front pastedown endpaper. Some offsetting to the front free endpaper. The inside pages are clean and unmarked, with slight toning. Lacks the dust jacket. Originally published in 1929, this is a reprint, which matches the description of the 1948 edition found in WorldCat. Considered to be the first full-length, non-fiction book written about the Jack the Ripper murders and the author's research received good reviews. Includes a few black and white photographs and drawings. Scarce in any edition.
