The Myth in the Machine

Is artificial intelligence truly objective, or are we simply trapped inside a hyper-polished digital illusion?

In The Myth in the Machine, Senior Lead Architect and DevSecOps specialist Kumar Dahal bridges the gap between enterprise multi-cloud engineering and ancient Vedāntic metaphysics. Drawing from decades of experience in high-velocity CI/CD pipelines, automated quality gates, and AI orchestration, Dahal pulls back the curtain on the opaque "black box" of modern deep learning.

Moving past the hype, this book maps cutting-edge Explainable AI (XAI) frameworks directly onto the timeless spiritual disciplines of the Bhagavad-gītā, Vedānta-sūtra, and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.

Inside this groundbreaking architectural blueprint, you will explore:

• The Anatomy of an AI Hallucination: How probabilistic models generate authoritative lies—and why structural bias in training data is the modern engineering equivalent of Vikṣepa Śakti (the projecting power of illusion).
• Overfitting the Soul: Why human brains and machine learning algorithms make the exact same error—mistaking natural background noise for true signal, as illustrated by the ancient allegory of King Purañjana.
• The Pictionary Test & Neti, Neti: How Axiomatic Attribution and Perturbation testing mirror the Upanishadic process of stripping away temporary layers of data to expose the unshakeable ground truth.
• The Mechanics of Detachment (Vairāgya): How decoupling legacy monoliths into event-driven microservices provides a concrete technical model for freeing human consciousness from external material fluctuations.
• Beyond the Simulation: Leaving the finite limits of Turing machines behind to glimpse Sanātana-dhāma—the self-luminous, absolute reality beyond the virtual machine of the material universe.

Whether you are a software engineer, DevOps leader, AI practitioner, or a seeker exploring Eastern philosophy, The Myth in the Machine provides an unshakeable framework to help you look past the front-end simulation, debug your internal telemetry, and find your permanent alignment with the Supreme Architect.
