Discover the extraordinary life and art of Dr. Evermor, a visionary artist who transformed industrial salvage into whimsical sculptures and the world's largest single-person sculpture, the Forevertron.
With the full participation of Tom and Eleanor Every, this art biography keenly documents Every’s amazing life, including never-before-published family photos, sketches, and personal memories, producing a detailed portrait of a unique self-taught artist. From his early days collecting and modifying cast-off industrial material to his work with Alex Jordan Jr. at the House on the Rock, Every's journey is one of constant creation and transformation.
Learn the story behind the story: how Tom Every became Dr. Evermor, and how he plans to climb the winding staircase of the Forevertron and embark on a “highball to heaven.” This book is for art enthusiasts, fans of outsider art, and anyone seeking inspiration in the unconventional.
