8.75 x 5.5", printed wraps, 275pp, front cover very worn and soiled, torn at foredge, rear cover removed, contents foxed and well worn. SWAF. CHARLES C. TROWBRIDGE'S COPY WITH HIS INK SIGNATURE ON FRONT COVER. Trowbridge was an explorer himself, joining Lewis Cass on his exploration trip to the Great Lakes in 1820; Trowbridge was later Mayor of Detroit.
