Witherby & Co., London, 1911. Illustrated with b&w photographs, a b&w map and two color maps. 5.75" x 8.75". Blue cloth, early ink owner name on endpaper, blind embossed owner name stamp on corner of title page. 300 pp. The result of 6 years of yacht cruising (as the guest of Sir Frederic Johnstone and his wife, Lady Wilton, who caught many of the fish) in the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico, studying birds, fish, reptiles, plants, geology, etc. Includes a 13 page chapter on fishing for tarpon (there is no mention of actually catching one, but there is a picture of the author with a 119 lb. tarpon caught on rod and reel), grouper, shark, barracuda, manta, etc. Very good.
