First Penguin Edition. Paperback with dust jacket. Binding is neat and tidy. Edges, verso covers, title pages and the occasional page has some heavy foxing and discolouration, whereas most pages throughout bear some light discolouration at the edges. Covers are lightly discoloured and rubbed. Head and tail of spine showing some wear and tear. Edges are well thumbed, else this book is in good condition. Dust jacket is well thumbed. Edges bear many a small chip and crease. Some discolouration, front and back. Now protected with a plastic sheath, which is removable. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound.
