Seventh edition, with an appendix, of a work first published 1717. 8vo. (200 mm); 608, [24] pp. Full dark brown calf, gilt spine with raised bands, edges and corners rubbed. Engraved frontispiece and 13 plates engraved on copper, ten of which are folding, one with loss. One of the first works on horticulture.
