Bonanza first printing (per publisher's "A" upon copyright page). [8], 168 pages. Hardcover: H 25.75cm x L 20.75cm. Dust jacket rubbed, some nicks and short tears at edges, two negligibly shallow chips at front panel's top edge, mild soiling to rear panel, original bookseller's price sticker at front flap's top corner with published price crossed out in ink; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Beige cloth spine with green cloth boards, light staining along front board's fore-edge. Interior pages are bright and clean. A very good copy in a very good- dust jacket. With b/w frontispiece, b/w photographs throughout, and Index. Features five chapters with brief text and numerous photographs with summary captions of New Orleans architecture, courtyards and patios, ironwork, and cemeteries most of which are in the French Quarter. Among the best photographic essays of New Orleans particularly notable for Lynn's images of the city's wrought and cast iron which, unlike the ironwork of Charleston, has never been the subject of a substantial academic study. Hasting's House first published the book in 1949; this Bonanza reprint was probably issued in the 1960s.…
