Two volume set. Both volumes have navy boards with gilt lettering on spine and front. Volume one bears some foxing and light discolouration on page edges, free endpapers, title pages and the occasional page throughout. Binding is sturdy and strong. There is the odd scuff mark on page edges, otherwise this volume is in good condition. Dust wrapper is lightly rubbed and thumbed. Slight discolouration on the fold backs, else in good condition. Volume two also bears some foxing and discolouration at the free endpapers, title pages and edges, else in good condition. Dust wrapper is lightly thumbed at corners and edges. Very lightly discoloured, else in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
