A poor copy lacking front endpapers, frontiis and title pages but believed to be the 1832 John Murray edition from comparison.from the 'contents' through to the index the book is complete including the 9 engraved plates. Boards and spine are worn and rubbed, top hinge split but binding remains tight. Some pages stained (some ink, some kitchen splashes!) and creased with small loss to xlvi but the book is generally legible.
