Store description
The Quill & Brush was established in 1976 by Allen and Patricia Ahearn as an open store carrying first editions and fine art. At present it is by appointment only and housed in the home of the Ahearn's eldest daughter, Beth Ahearn Fisher, who is carrying on the family bookselling tradition. Our current stock of approximately 3,500 books consists mainly of first editions of American and English Literature including Mysteries and Detective Stories, Science Fiction, Children's and Illustrated Books. We also collectible books in all fields. Over the years, we have published more than 200 individual Author Price Guides; and Allen and Patricia authored the well-regarded books on book collecting, "Collected Books: The Guide to Identification and Values" (4th ed., 2011) and "Book Collecting 2000: A Comprehensive Guide." Please contact us at firsts@QBbooks.com to be placed on our e-list for notifications of website sales and new arrivals or to request our occasional printed catalog.…
