pp. [viii], 546 pages plus 5 hand-coloured maps (2 double-page including world map) and a plate of "new testament" written in 48 different languages. Original blind-stamped full black morocco, with a working metal clasp to the fore-edge, binding very good with a little gentle rubbing only. All edges gilt. Contents clean and tight, original pale purple end papers, there a number of blanks at the front and back with contemporary mostly pencil annotation -very small and neat, a little pencil annotation in the text. A very good copy. Conforms with "Herbert" 1787. Size: 48mo (11 x 8cm).
