Early reprint of this student exercise book used as the standard text for teaching arithmetic in Boston schools of the 1830s. First published in 1832, this is the second part of three in a series. 7'' x 4.25''. Original blue paper covered boards, sheep spine. Speckled edges, corners of text block bevelled. 192 pages. Ink owner name to front fly leaf, ink spot to rear pastedown. Boards worn, with shallow chipping, bumping at corners exposing boards. Toning and dampstaining to endpapers and title page.
