768p. Ex-library; REBOUND. A hardcover book that has been rebound in beige cloth. Smudges on the boards. Library stamps inside on main title page and first page of each issue. Otherwise a clean, tight book in good reading condition. Volume 226 of THE NORTH AMERICAN REVIEW, the first literary magazine in the United States. This volume contains the issues for July through December 1928. Features include an article on "Why Women Succeed in Business" by psychologist and engineer Lillian M. Gilbreth (whose children wrote the popular story "Cheaper By the Dozen" about their large family's life), an article on the changes in Hollywood titled "Movies and Talkies" by director and producer Monta Bell, and an article on "Mussolini at Close Range" by Katharine Dayton.
