Red morocco gilt binding, rubbed and worn, with rear board detached and front board starting. Contains attractive double fore-edge paintings (one a view of the Castle on the Rhine and the other of Oxfordshire with fishing scene). Would benefit from rebacking and happy to advise. Internally, very good or better. The book is inscribed in a contemporary hand to "J. L. Sealy from his affectionate friend T. W. Tindal." Sold as is.
