Non � presente il testo del Guidetti di 116 pagine, intitolato "Breve compendio della vita di Maria Santissima, compilato dal sac. Bartolommeo Guidetti; dietro la scorta de' 24. rami incisi in Roma del ch. signore Alessandro Mochetti con aggiunte dell'Ave Maria con meditazioni sopra questa bella creazione". Allievo di Giovanni Volpato, Alessandro Mochetti (1760-1812) fu attivo a Roma, occupandosi principaImente di incisioni a soggetto religioso, come in questa raccolta, tratta da soggetti di Nicolas Poussin. ICCU\VIAE\03330 conferma la presenza di 23 tavole invece delle 24 indicate nel titolo. La 24� � probabilmente quella inserita nel frontespizio. Il pittore Nicolas Poussin (Les Andelys, 15 giugno 1594 ?
