10 double-laid pages with another lay of cloth inbetween; fully illustrated, incl. 4 plates in chromolithography. - Publisher's chromolithographed (two girls dancing, dressed in green and white) stiff binding; 4to.(ca. 26 x 19 cm). ~~~ Original 19th century edition, perhaps 'untearable' but not 'unrubbable' as the corners show. - Child's 2nd-half-of-20th-century pencil ownership inscription at inner frontpanel 'Eric Morgan, . . . , Blair Street, North Bondi'(Australia); still an acceptable copy of the rare original.
