Sp�cialiste de philosophie m�di�vale et renaissante, plus particuli�rement italienne, il est l'auteur de La Philosophie de la lumi�re chez Dante (Paris, 2016) et de Dante, l'esprit p�lerin (Paris, 2016).

Bruno Bernardi est membre de l'Institut d'histoire des repr�sentations et des id�es dans les modernit�s (IHRIM). Une grande part de ses travaux porte sur la philosophie de Rousseau, auquel il a consacr� sa th�se (La Fabrique des concepts. Recherches sur l'invention conceptuelle chez Rousseau, Paris, 2006). Il coordonne les travaux du Groupe Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
