Jacket has 6.00 price, address without zip code, and small picture at upper spine edge by Martha Rocher. Half black cloth with gilt on spine and black boards. A couple of light smudges on the black boards. American first edition of this controversial book was printed in 1962. The dust jacket shows edgewear with small chip on back panel just below address, frayed and ragged top edge of spine panel and vertical scuff on both front and back panels. In spite of all this, the jacket still looks striking and the author name is quite legible on spine. xv, 255 pp. Fiction.
