It introduces the reader to nanoscale fluid phenomena and explores how fluid dynamics on this extreme length scale can be understood using hydrodynamic theory and detailed atomistic simulations. About the Author

Jesper Schmidt Hansen is Professor in Integrated Science at the Department of Science and Environment, Roskilde University, Denmark. His research focus is namely nanoscale fluid systems explored through molecular dynamics and hydrodynamics. He has authored more than 50 original research articles and has taught many courses ranging from C-programming and mathematical analysis to quantum mechanics.
