Nation Building Genesis 10-11: God's Testimony to a Needy World Series - Book Three

The Tower of Babel: God creates the languages to squelch mankind's rebellion.

Nation building: God's blueprint for the nations featuring Abraham and the Jews.

One brief century after the Flood, mankind once again rebelled against its Creator. The Tower of Babel represents man's incessant clamoring for sinful independence. In an act of profound mercy, God instead initiates the languages instead of annihilating His tempestuous creation. This stupendous linguistic action led to the creation of the world's various peoples and nations. These two chapters culminate with the introduction of Abraham and God's chosen nation, Israel. God thus lays down a promising foundation for the fascinating narrative of the Old Testament.

Dr. David Wold has been traveling and teaching the Bible around the world for over forty years. Having visited and taught in eighty-plus countries, he has personally witnessed the profound impact of the Scriptures on many peoples and cultures. His prayer is that this book on Genesis, chapters 10 to 11, will enhance your understanding of the Tower of Babel and God's plan for the nations.
