National Service High Jinks is a light-hearted account of a "Two year, three week and two day" stint of National Service from basic training to demob.
The author has been able to recount so much, as if occurred yesterday (instead of over half a century ago) because he kept diaries and letters he wrote home at the time to his parents.
A thoroughly enjoyable read. Includes numerous photographs and illustrations.
