A short quote, 'As the foregoing pages show, we cannot deal with the people of these far-eastern countries without a goodly reference to rice, for it is their staple food. Like Mary Jane in Mr A.A. Milne's poem, they can only say, 'It's lovely rice pudding for dinner again.'.
