Two volume set. Burgundy buckram boards with gilt detailing to covers and spines. Edges are scuffed. Volume I: 777pp. One 1cm~ split to bottom of spine. Opens flat. Volume II: 983pp. Two 1cm~ splits to bottom of spine. Horizontal scuff mark to both spines around 2/3rds of the way up spines. Both volumes open flat, but no loose pages. With about two thousand original woodcut illustrations.
