Natural Remedies for Chronic Pain: A Comprehensive Guide (III)

Natural Remedies for Chronic Pain is a comprehensive guide to the many natural alternatives for treating chronic pain. The book helps the reader understand chronic pain and why alternative therapies are often more effective and safer than drugs. Evidence is presented on how the mind may be a cause of pain and how the mind can reverse painful conditions. Much science underlies the effectiveness of natural remedies  but is being ignored by traditional health care.
Specific pain disorders are discussed with scientific studies confirming the effectiveness of natural therapies for arthritis, fibromyalgia, back pain, headaches, neuropathy, and many more disorders. Most often life style changes can reduce pain such as good nutrition, herbs, and exercise that are discussed in detail. The appendix has a summary of natural remedies providing contact information for ordering various products.
Patients need to take responsibility for their own health, in cooperation with their healthcare provider, and this book provides the guidelines on how to reduce chronic pain.
