By Thomas Haweis and printed in Worcester, Massachusetts by Daniel Greenleaf. 1803, 430 pp, 8.25 x 5.5 , 8vo, rebound hardcover half leather. Overall very good. Nicely rebound with minor rubbing and wear to exterior. Hinges remain tight and text block remains bound well. Light markings and marginalia at front. Staining to edges and corners of pages towards front. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce piece and nicely rebound piece by Thomas Haweis (1734-1820), an English cleric and influential figure in the British 18th Century Evangelical revival movement and the London Missionary Society.
