Worcester, MA: The Davis Press, 1910. Title page dated 1910. Focuses on botanical graphic illustration for books and advertising rather than technical or purely realistic design. Well illustrated with examples throughout including some color plates. Light green cloth printed in darker green, 164 pages. Former office copy from Plimpton Press with their stamp inside the front cover and a paper label at lower spine, no other markings. Covers have use related soil and modest wear to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, traces of foxing to title page and final page, pages clean. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
