This book provides the serious Christian with an organized study which includes every mention of the word "church" found in the New Testament. So many today wonder why it matters what Jesus had in mind when He said, "I will build my church." Even some who consider themselves to be "serious" Christians are unconcerned or believe that it is not possible to understand church doctrine. The concept that God does indeed care where and how we worship Him is developed throughout the Old Testament (see Deuteronomy 12 for example). The Lord further established that concept in the New Testament, providing specific instructions and examples to those first-century Christians authorized to represent Him: His church. This small study outline, a reprint of the original and a companion to the newer expanded edition, is a guide to what Christ and the apostles had to say regarding the church--a guide to those same instructions preserved for us for nearly two millennia. What a high privilege and awesome responsibility His churches have as His representatives on earth! Search and discover for yourself the glorious vision Christ has for His church.
