Navigating Regional Dynamics in the Post-Cold War World: Patterns of Relations in the Mediterranean Area

Nestling into the wide gap between the many domestic and international studies of the Mediterranean region, inquires whether and if so how relations among countries in the region have changed since the breakdown of the bipolar world. Discusses the concept of regionalism, its historical expression in the Mediterranean, contemporary relations, and the influence of external actors. Concludes that though outside forces have altered patterns of relations, they have not changed the underlying pattern of alignment and conflict. No index. Distributed by Ashgate.
