(Jack) Chalmers (one of the authors) and his brother Alfred, who served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII. Jack made it home; Alfred was not so lucky. Chalmers Lake in Manitoba is named after Alfred. Jack Chalmers and his son John J.N. Chalmers are authors of this book. Jack Chalmers is author of Horseman in Scarlet, which currently is also offered for sale on ABEbooks.
