Nazareth Against Nice: Or An Impartial Review Of The Existing Churches, Their Creeds And Principles (1887)

Nazareth Against Nice is a book written by Iconoclast in 1887 that provides an impartial review of the existing churches, their creeds and principles. The book is a critique of the Nicene Creed, which was adopted by the Christian church in the 4th century and has since become a cornerstone of Christian theology. Iconoclast argues that the Nicene Creed is a flawed and incomplete representation of Christian belief, and that it has been used to justify religious intolerance and persecution throughout history. The book also examines the various denominations of Christianity, including Catholicism, Protestantism, and Eastern Orthodoxy, and analyzes their beliefs and practices. Iconoclast takes a critical approach to these religions, questioning their dogmas and calling for a more rational and compassionate approach to spirituality. Overall, Nazareth Against Nice is a thought-provoking and challenging read for anyone interested in the history and philosophy of religion. From The Stand Point Of The Written Word Of God.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
