Ex-library copy with ink stamp on the front cover, bookplate on inside of front cover. Partial title written on the spine, "Sample File" written on the upper margin of the front cover. Upper portion of rear cover has chipping and creasing, particularly near the outer corner. A large piece of the last (blank) leaf has been torn away. Plates and adjacent pages have varying amounts of foxing. Upper outer corners in front are slightly creased. Covers have tape remnants to the upper spine corners where they held on a label. ; Volume Ten, Number Three. Contents consist of "The War Between Nebraska and Kansas. Both sides of the dispute over the true location of the Pike-Pawnee Indian Village where the Spanish flag came down and the Stars and Stripes went up."
