The red cover boards with gilt printing on the front and spine are actually in very good condition except for the circle stain where someone set down their coffee cup at some point in the last 130 years. The binding is tight and square. Pages have normal tanning and lightly soiled edges. A name is written in ink and the bookseller's imprint are on the first paste down page. Really nice little book.
