About the Author

I am a fifty-two year old native of the Bronx. My life experiences on the streets of the city have shaped my life. I grew up in an environment that either destroyed or matured a person. I was one of the lucky ones. During the time I was putting this story to words, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I survived the brain surgery and continued to write. To me it was just another challenge. I grew up around violence. You either got into it or avoided it. But what you could never do was escape the reality it forced you to live with. Everybody's life is a story. This is mine.
